By accessing or using remove.now ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

remove.now provides AI-powered image background removal as a digital service. Users may upload images and receive processed images with backgrounds removed. The Service offers a limited number of free uses, after which payment is required to continue.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Upload images that violate any applicable law or infringe on third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit the Service
• Use automated tools to abuse the free tier or circumvent usage limits
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive

4. User Content

You retain all rights to images you upload. By uploading, you grant us a temporary license to process your image solely for the purpose of delivering the Service. Uploaded images are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing.

5. Payments and Credits

After the free tier is exhausted, continued use requires purchasing a credit pack. Credits are non-expiring and non-transferable. All purchases are final — see our Refund Policy for details.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, remove.now shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the Service:

• Uploaded images: Temporarily stored for processing, automatically deleted within 1 hour
• Usage data: Basic analytics including page views and feature usage via Google Analytics
• Device identifiers: Anonymous browser fingerprint used solely to enforce free usage limits
• IP address: Used for rate limiting and abuse prevention

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Process and deliver image background removal results
• Enforce fair usage limits on the free tier
• Improve the Service through aggregate analytics
• Prevent abuse and ensure service availability

3. Data Retention

Uploaded images and processed results are automatically deleted within 1 hour of upload. We do not store image content beyond this window. Anonymous usage metrics may be retained for up to 12 months.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties, except:

• Replicate AI: Images are sent to Replicate's API for processing under their privacy policy
• Google Analytics: Aggregate, anonymized usage statistics
• Payment processors: Payment information is handled entirely by Paddle or PayPal and never stored by us

We use minimal cookies and localStorage for session management and free usage tracking. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any data associated with your session by contacting us at vinh@vinh.vc. Since we do not collect personal identifying information, most data is already anonymized.

Refund Policy

1. Digital Service Nature

remove.now provides digital image processing as a service. Credits purchased grant access to a fixed number of AI-powered background removal operations.

2. General Policy

All purchases of credit packs are final and non-refundable once credits have been used. Due to the nature of digital image processing services, we are unable to offer refunds for consumed credits.

3. Unused Credits

If you have purchased a credit pack but have not used any credits, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting us at vinh@vinh.vc. Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Technical Issues

If credits were deducted due to a technical error on our end (e.g., processing failed through no fault of the image), we will restore the affected credits to your account. Contact us with details of the issue.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or credit restoration, email vinh@vinh.vc with:

• Your payment confirmation or transaction ID
• Date of purchase
• Reason for the refund request

We will respond within 3 business days.
